Not an Egg in sight

Back to Group this week after our well earned Easter break. The Weather over Easter was.... Changeable
The break must have done some good, because Angie was actually working on something for a change.

a really pretty embroidered piece
Lynda has shelved the quilt that she is making for a while, she has hit a problem and needs to take stock before moving that one forward.
so is keeping her sanity using the last scraps from her Fabulous quilt
and is sewing hexagons that will probably end up being a cushion to pop on that bed.

Kathy was still EPP'ing - sewing diamonds into Tumbling Blocks

 Bernice is also Embroidering

Maria is still sewing her hexagons together

Jan is appliqueing more Sun Bonnet Sue blocks for her quilt

Barbara is hand quilting her Half Square Triangle quilt

Chris thinks Easter is later this month (don't know what religion SHE follows!!!) and is making a pretty bunny cushion.

we won't burst her bubble!
Kay is out of sync with her seasons too!  She found this previously (5 years ago - at least!) started project and has promised herself that it will be finished for December.

we will see.......

Maureen was crocheting a Fidget Muff and was a bit concerned that the edges were a bit baggy, but we reassured her that this would prevent the wearers cuffs from being pushed up...

Glenys was knitting a baby snuggle blanket. This is for our local Maternity Unit, 400 gift boxes have been promised and some of our ladies have taken up the mantle to help with that.

You will hear more of this next week.
June has been very busy

Betty Lamb is just the cutest
and she has also begun a long-stitch project

And brought a photo of the lovely flowers that she received for her Golden Wedding Anniversaryan some yummy cakes to celebrate!
Congratulations June & Brian!

Muriel has completed the last of her 25 purple paper pieced blocks so now just to get them together

Pat is joining scrappy strips into blocks

Alison is making a Mole toy from a kit

Linda is appliqueing a pot of flowers

Janice is stitching a whole flower bed
Sheila is working on a fabric seasons calendar

Mrs Beal spent all morning preparing work to keep her YOP busy this afternoon. Well Done Mrs Beal!!

she will be marking all work !

On the 18th & 20th we will be making a small Bargello project. the details are over on the Diary page.
You do need to get your strips cut before the day
