Wednesday Wonders

Gillian was bravely tackling the Twisted Log Cabin blocks by hand. This may be an advantage because there was much reverse sewing and I may have heard her mutter (more than once) "this is making me depressed!" . But to her credit - she kept on going.  At the end of the evening, she had not progressed too far, but I think at last "by George! She's Got IT!!"

Rosemary tidied up our Library database and advised Susan regarding the making of a "Humbug" bag

before finishing off a couple of very pretty smocked coat hanger covers.

Carol was on a mission to progress one of her smocked Christmas Baubles
There were borders being added to a sweet Hungry Caterpillar panel
rubbish photo! Must have been running when I took this!
And Elizabeth was binding a pretty baby quilt.
Pooh is always a favourtite
Susan was ensuring her backing on this oriental quilt was nice and smooth before she gets on with the quilting
Remember the card that Jackie had received as a thank you for making her friend a quilt last week ?

 Well this is THE quilt!
The friend went on a course ( no crafting experience) to make the card and took the pin-wheel as her inspiration. It's nice to know that the hours of sewing are appreciated.

Another Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK so no Monday meeting next week.

                           Have a Great Weekend!!
