A Bit Behind!!

Last week seems to have run away with me, so here we have two Monday and one Wednesday sessions photos.
You remember that Kay was making another "fidget quilt". Well, it is now completed and they have all been allocated new owners in local care facilities. I hope that they will bring comfort to their new owners.

Does this one look more blue?
Somehow this one looks more white that the other?

little flowers lining up
We have quite a bit of Counter Change smocking going on. Ellen and Shirley have both used the same fabric to make the blue and white cushions, Ellen is making another pretty cushion and Ena is making a coat-hanger cover.

Alison has been having a turn out and has given Ellen some Christmas stocking panels from........ WAY back when. Well, they are all done and ready to sell in September!
Well done Ellen
Toni has finished a very pretty little Linus quilt
And is now knitting a bright tunic for " fish and chip" babies! We just cannot imagine being so poor that all you have to wrap a newborn in is newspaper!!! There are some things in this world that are SO WRONG!!!
Grand work Toni!
Carole is sewing a Log Cabin cushion, ready for the raffle
And I had not spotted this piggy pin cushion before!  He is lovely and you will never misplace him!
Over the two Mondays, Muriel has added another two Paper Pieced blocks to her collection

June was finishing off a pretty Linus quilt
Jan is working on a fruity arty piece
Bridget is still having a ball, adding lots more stitching to the piece that she started when Diana came to teach the Stunning Stitches workshop

Sue is adding a border to her Liberty Hexi quilt
Hazel has been cutting and preparing fabrics to make some bags
Liz is another one who is making a quilt for Linus
And Jan is de-constructing a little dress as she wants to recycle the fabric

Mrs Beal has prepared fabric ready to make some crayon roll ups at next weeks "Four Corners" day. these will be donated to the shoe box appeal. I think this is in conjunction with Christian Aid
Therese is making progress with her "rag rug waistcoat

this will weigh a ton when its done!
Now, I shouldn't really show you this as the Challenge "Big Reveal" is not until the end of the month. However, Carole has completed hers and is just lacing the back ready to pop in the frame. I did take a sneaky peak and it is a beauty!!
Lynda added the final ribbons to her smocked bauble. This is a gift and another one is on the list.

Amanda was adding the binding to her bright Celtic Quilt

Beverley has made a quilt top for her grand daughter
guess her name!
Nesta has put her son's quilt top together. This is the fabric that she ---- is not fond of. Son brought it home from one of his trips to Burma.
Susan had finished her Red Work wall hanging
so sweet
And is now working through the instructions on her "Sew Together" bag
looks interesting
The other Sue has just started a Stacking coins quilt.

Love these fabrics

And three of our members are taking part in a Mini a Month project. these are February's designs. They measure 12" square and were quite tricky to complete.
The middle one has a bigger border.  They are already complaining about the March edition!!
