Sickness Still About!

We were slightly down on numbers again on Wednesday, Ena and Brenda both away with this awful bug that is plaguing most households. I am feeling much better (its been three weeks!!!) and had a little trip to see family. It seems we now know who are the noisy ones???

Those that were at group were very productive as usual

Hayley is already on the Easter projects. She has pinched Mum Annette's ideas for little mice and Easter chicks.
with Rudolph putting in an appearance
Jackie was making a 'mess' but I think she was tidying up her bit bag like you do!!
Bernice - A 'Partridge in a pear tree' for next Christmas perhaps?
Sweet Redwork project
Lynda's pincushions from 2013, so about time they got completed!
production line
Carole Perry's table runner for an odd shaped table for next Christmas!
is this an early start or a late finish?
Carole is also on a Christmas theme, smocking a Christmas bauble. You can read more about Carol's work HERE
Beverley's 'Chicken' hat was a work in progress that Carol tried on and did a passable impression of a chicken (hilarious!)  It's a shame that she refused to be photo'd with it on. (I don't blame her)

Rosemary was crocheting Attic 24's Ripple blanket. This blog is so full of colour and inspiration. She is "hero" to all our crochet gals.
Carol is using the same colours, but a different design - you can read about it on her blog
Hopefully next week the bugs will have subsided and we can start the new year in earnest.

The diary page has our programme for 2015, and any changes will be posted here.

  1. Looking forward to getting a full compliment back at group, both Monday and Wednesday especially as we are doing 'Postcards' at our next project evening/full day.
