Warm and wonderful

The sunny weather continues...Yeah! but it didn't put off the ladies,  lots arrived and lots of work going on.

Christine Angie and Jo are onto another project.....looks interesting

Mmmmmm bit of embroidery
in fact quite a bit of embroidery was going on today..

Happy Bunny
Liz is busy with these hexies

Looks very interesting Liz
and she did finish her Japanese folded project..

Great Bag Liz
This table looks a bit of a mess, but obviously lots of work in progress

Lots of stars.... me thinks Christmas!!
Lots of chatter from this group!!

Big discussions on fabric choice obviously
We had some very special visitors today.  This little lady was accompanied by Allison

Didn't catch her name
Snorkmaiden from Sweden

Love that flower Pam
and please.......is this really a 'Christmas'  Elf???  Chris what are you doing to us??

Just needs his face.
Sue has finished her  'beginner' Sampler Quilt that she made at her local quilt shop

Well done Sue, you should be very proud
and last but never least, Kim has been plodding along with her (totally) hand made quilt

Beautiful
Phew! what a lot of work.
Kim says there are about 3 more borders.  So watch this space.

These photos were taken on Saturday. Fran has made a quilt as a Ruby Wedding Anniversary present for her friend. It was still a lovely day, but there was quite a breeze going on
This is no good
So, in true Cirque Du Soleil style ,   Fran and Lynda did a bit of a performance          -----
nearly there!!!

 And we snapped this!!!!

Some appliquéd blocks and some made with candlewick embroidery. The symbols all have a special meaning for the (very lucky) recipient.

This will be borrowed back for the Exhibition so you can see it in the flesh. Maybe we can get the girls to do a repeat performance?

Some of the Wednesday ladies were working on their Exhibition cushions

There was a lot of crazy going on

And some were making cup cake pot holders

these would look good in any kitchen
Elizabeth was making coat hangers, Jackie a quilt for a baby and the bright pink will be a jewellery bag that Maureen is working on,

Lynda is adding the finishing pretty's to her Sea Horse wall hanging

sequins and beads
A busy week all in all. Well done ladies!
